Dr Stéphanie Nsimé Ngono Yobo, Chief Medical Officer of the Tsinga MCA
“Pregnant women do not often come for consultation”.
“Pregnant women do not often come to the health centres for consultations. The vast majority give birth at home. So the Tsinga District
Medical Centre is a solution to this problem. Women will be more aware, they will better understand the usefulness of the thing, they will better understand the importance of pregnancy monitoring. Already, women who come here must discover that there is a delivery room, that there are doctors next to them, who can receive them at any time, whenever they request a care service. We are going to take advantage of this free consultation campaign offered by the Cameroon Association of Midwives and Similar to better sensitise them on the need to come to the hospital for consultations. It is a golden opportunity to tell them that care is accessible to all segments of the population, that they can come to the hospital.
