RHCs of Bertoua, Garoua, Maroua and Ngaoundéré : Manaouda Malachie provides these infrastructures with transport busestransport buses
The Minister of Public Health solemnly handed over these rolling machines to the Directors of these health facilities yesterday, 3 May 2023, in Yaounde
Rostand TCHAMI
These include four Toyota Coaster transport buses with a minimum capacity of 4164 cm3, each with 26 seats, 4.2L, a manual gearbox, air conditioning, fabric seats and a 10CV diesel engine. The acquisition
of these transport buses by the Minsanté, intended for the personnel of the Regional Hospital
Centres, aims at facilitating their movements, in particular, the effective and efficient care of the patients. Given that some RHCs are located far from the regional capitals, a means of transport is necessary to ensure that staff can get to their workstations on time. All this will contribute to the good quality of care in the hospitals.
Taking the floor, the Minsanté reiterated
that “we are in the process of motivating health personnel, improving care and the working environment ». He also reminded all the beneficiaries that these transport buses must be used only for professional purposes and not for individual or private use. As a good father, he urged them to make good use of them for the happiness of all. This endowment is timely for these localities which are really in need. “It is important to know that the RHC of Garoua was built 10 km from the city centre. So a transport bus will help the staff to get to work in a timely manner and for the improvement of care,” said Inna Rakya, Director of the Garoua RHC.
