“The subject of this activity is the evolution of clinical biology in Cameroon. Challenges and perspectives. And why this theme? Medical
biology or laboratory medicine is an essential entity in the diagnostic process of prevention, follow-up and control of diseases. We therefore wanted to take stock today. How far we have come up to the present day. There has been a meteoric evolution with innovative
technologies. Since the 1980s, biology has completely changed its paradigm. It must remain the essential element in the care of patients. It contributes to 60% of patient care. Whether it is gynaecology, paediatrics or surgery, all socialities need quality laboratory results to properly manage and monitor their patients ».
