especially when consumed in high doses. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) sets the daily intake of coumarin at 0.1 mg per kg body weight. It should be noted that Ceylon cinnamon contains coumarin in much lower proportions than Chinese cinnamon.
This is why it is advisable to be vigilant and to give preference to Ceylon cinnamon. Furthermore,
